indoors or at night, the lenses are clear. When exposed to UV sunlight, they automatically darken to a sunglasses tint. As soon as you move away from UV sunlight, the lenses will clear within a few minutes, becoming noticeably lighter and mostly clear.

Photochromic lenses protect your eyes by absorbing UV radiation that can damage them. These glasses are not sunglasses, but they offer significant UV protection.

Strength Adjustments

The photochromic lens changes in color according to the intensity of ultraviolet rays. The stronger the UV rays, the deeper the discoloration. The weaker the UV rays, the lighter the discoloration.
